The Cle Fix LLC, doing business as "The Fix" ("we," "us," "our"), operates the website theclefix.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site to order our chef-prepared meals, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
The Fix uses guest checkout — you do not create an account or a password. When you place an order, we collect:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number, so we can confirm your order and reach you about pickup.
- Order details — the items you select, any add-ons, your pickup day, and the order total.
- Payment confirmation — see "Payment information" below.
We do not ask for information we don't need to fulfill your order. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Authorize.net. Your card number is entered into a secure field and tokenized by Authorize.net's Accept.js in your browser, so your full card number is never sent to or stored on our servers. We retain only a transaction reference and the amount charged — enough to confirm and, if needed, look up your payment. We never store or log raw card data.
How we use your information
- To prepare, confirm, and hand off your order.
- To send you an order confirmation and contact you about your order or pickup.
- To keep records of orders and payments for normal business and accounting purposes.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the business:
- Payment processor — Authorize.net, to process your payment.
- Email/hosting providers — to send confirmations and host the Site.
- Legal — when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Cookies
The Site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work — for example, to keep your order form working and to protect form submissions. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed for business and accounting purposes. Technical server logs are kept on a short rolling basis (about 30 days) and never contain card data.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, payments are tokenized by Authorize.net, and access to order data is limited to the business. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion where applicable, contact us using the details below and we'll respond as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version, and changes take effect when posted.
